About Hageman Realty Team

Hageman Realty is a fourth-generation, woman-owned farmland brokerage rooted in Remington, Indiana since 1976. It doesn’t run from a single desk in a single town, though. Its brokers live on the ground they sell.

Sara works out of Waynetown, ten minutes from Crawfordsville, covering Montgomery County and the farm ground around it, out through Fountain, Parke, Putnam, Boone, and Tippecanoe. The Remington home office anchors the northwest, Jasper, Newton, Benton, White, and Warren counties, from Rensselaer and Kentland to Fowler and Monticello. Other brokers work from Lebanon, Zionsville, Cory, and Carbondale, Illinois. So whether your ground sits near Crawfordsville, Covington, Rockville, Rensselaer, or Lafayette, you’re dealing with a broker who’s already local, not one driving in from an hour away.

Every broker here works land for a living, which is a different job than selling houses. The team is built on the difference between a farmland broker and a general realtor, and it shows in the work: farm management for absentee and working landowners, land auctions and private-treaty sales, recreational and hunting ground, and commercial and transitional land, across Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Arkansas, and Texas. Each broker carries the licenses to back the states they actually cover.

Sara Hageman Schenck, ALC, leads the firm with Purdue ag credentials and four generations of farmland transactions in the family. Hinnerk Wolters works complex agribusiness deals across three states with dual Purdue and IU Kelley credentials. Kyle Scott runs the recreational lane after seven years in the outdoor video industry. Landon Wellman pairs Purdue engineering with active farming. Suzy Hageman oversees residential and MLS transactions with 35+ years of experience. Brandon Edwards covers southern Illinois farmland as a licensed surveyor and attorney.

Whether you’re selling inherited farmland, buying recreational ground, building a farm management plan, or evaluating commercial land for an investor, the team works the deal together.
